The objective of this site is to provide information about Servicemembers, the battle they fought and connecting those events with people that are still alive.  

What we want you to do:

If you know of anyone who served on Iwo Jima please look for their name by searching here .

If their listing is "unclaimed" and you know something about them, then click "Claim" and that listing becomes yours. (you become the contact so others who might have known this person may contact you via email)

If you don't know anyone, but know someone who served in WWII, please tell others about this site.

If you have images of someone here and would like to have them posted, contact us and we'll make arrangements to have them uploaded here.   

If you would like, we will give you your own URL with your family name so others can easily find and view the information.   e.g.,   http://iwojimahistory.com/kasemodel
